When you are starting the search for water treatment in your home, there is just a little bit of information we need to determine your installation as well as sizing for your home. Have this information ready when you start:
Soft Water Loop Installation
Main Installation
For a water softener installation, a water supply, drain line and power is all needed for an install. That would be the components in place is your home is pre-plumbed for a softener with a soft water loop. The above piping is Wirsbo, but your loop could also be Pex or Copper.
If you don't have a soft water loop, we would at least need the main water shut off valve piping in the garage to perform an installation. We would then just need to run a drain to a safe location and get power from somewhere in the garage.
Sizing
To ensure a system is properly sized for your home, a company would just need the approximate square footage and to know how many people are living in the home.
